Harmony Matters

We began our work in the utility room, where our client had stored some office supplies that she hadn't been able to unpack since she moved into her current home.  We took everything out of the room, helped her sort through all the boxes, and disposed of the things she no longer needed.

We were able to remove the shelf that had been in the center of the room.  Now the room feels much larger, and it's easy to access everything stored on the shelves. 

This beautiful custom-designed cabinet had lots of space, including a slide-out media shelf for the printer and scanner. It was easy for this cabinet to become a place to stash things. 

Our client invested in some matching storage boxes for photos, CD's, paper, and files.  This cabinet now holds graphic design and portfolio items, photos, computer software, computer supplies and paper, records from remodeling jobs, and the printer and scanner.

This desk had become cluttered after a vacation that left our client with piles of accumulated mail to sort and file.  One of our challenges was to design a paper flow process that replaced the desk top as temporary storage.

The desk is clear of paperwork and is now an inviting work space.
