Lots of furniture
and knick-knacks, plus a big beautiful ficus plant, took up lots of space
in this living room. |
We decluttered the
living room and adopted the ficus plant to a new home. With the lights
turned on, this living room is warm and inviting. |
The dining room,
always an active room, became even busier and more cluttered when our
client became less mobile and putting things away became more difficult. |
We cleaned out the
kitchen cupboards, making space to put away pet food, medications, and
other items that had previously been living on the counters. |
The family room, the media center, the
library, the exercise room, and the home of the dogs’ crates. A very busy
place. |
We removed the large photo collage from
the mantel and moved the dogs’ crates into another room. This gave us a
new space for the exercise bike and voila, the fireplace is the focal
point of the room. |
We helped our
client sort through all of her books and photographs to make more space on
these tall bookshelves. |
We found the
daffodil painting in a closet; now it brightens the family room. |
The dog crates had become a place to put
things, and they impeded traffic flow in the room. The rug under them
also created visual clutter. |
We moved the exercise bike into the
space where the
dog crates were, and removed the rug so that the beautiful hardwood floors
could be seen and appreciated. |
This little guest
room provided a cozy space, complete with books and knick-knacks, for
visitors. |
With the books and
knick-knacks removed and the beds made, this room is now a less personal
space and will have more appeal to potential buyers. |
This room had many beautiful
collectibles and photographs on display. |
Without so many personal items, the
room now has more appeal for potential buyers. |
This small storage shed was full of
gardening tools, seasonal decor, and kids' toys. |
We quickly decluttered and
reorganized, grouping similar items together and boxing up loose items in
plastic bins. Now this shed will make a more favorable impression on
potential buyers. |
